Management

Alton L. Cherry, President / CEO
Mr. Cherry has over twenty-five years of senior management experience in operations, marketing, strategic planning, and acquisition analysis and integration.  Prior to founding Hydro Resources, he served as the Senior Executive overseeing the North American Operations for a large manufacturer of underground construction equipment, responsible for marketing, distributor relations, product design and development, engineering and manufacturing.  He also served as a senior executive for a large consolidator in the industrial distribution industry, managing their overall growth, profitability and operational strategies through the evaluation, acquisition and integration of acquired companies into the organization’s business structure.  Mr. Cherry holds a BBA from Lamar University.

Mark McWatters, Vice President – Operations
Mr. McWatters has over 25 years of management experience in senior management, drilling operations, business process improvement, supply chain management and merger acquisition and integration. He has served as a senior executive for a large international marine construction services company, overseeing all aspects of marine management, supply chain, IT, quality and HR. He brings extensive knowledge of drilling practices, process analysis and improvement, business strategy development and implementation, and acquisition integration. Mr. McWatters holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University.

Carl D. Mullins , Vice President – Finance & Administration
Mr. Mullins brings over eighteen years of both international and domestic finance and accounting experience from the construction, service and distribution industries where he has held controllership responsibilities for operations spanning forty countries. He brings an extensive background in systems implementations, process standardization, internal controls development and implementation, mergers and acquisitions, as well as staff development. Mr. Mullins holds a BBA from Sam Houston State University and is a licensed CPA.
